Karo Platinum granted a 25-year special mining lease

24 August 2026 — Karo Platinum (Private) Limited, the operating company for the Karo Platinum Project, signed a 25-year special mining lease with the Government of Zimbabwe.

  • Project ownership: Karo Mining Holdings 85%, Generation Minerals 15% (Republic of Zimbabwe, free carry)
  • Karo Mining Holdings ownership: Tharisa plc 78.17% as at September 2025
